Helping our veterans
This group was founded to give back to our Veterans and Active Duty Military families as a thank you for our freedom. We have hundreds of poultry breeders across the United States that would like to donate birds to get a military family in their area started on the rewarding experience of raising your own poultry. If you are a military family who has thought about starting and would like information about how to begin the process, what it requires to care for your own flock, or help in deciding if it's right for you....you have come to the right place! If you decide raising your own birds for meat, eggs, pets, or show or as a therapy for PTSD, Uncle Roo wants You and we are here to connect you with a breeder who is willing to donate. If the care required is too much or you are an active military family and often moving or on base we can still help. Farm fresh eggs or a fresh processed bird for your freezer are also available. Please tell us about your family and interest and we will do our best to connect you with a breeder in your area.
